Webster’s dictionary defines leverage as “the action of a lever or the mechanical advantage gained by it, or power, effectiveness used in trying to gain an advantage.”
When it comes to money, this sounds a lot like how the ‘Financial World’ uses our money to leverage it for THEIR advantage or gain. That said, how can YOU leverage your own money for YOUR advantage. For the next three weeks, Tony will cover three techniques to help you make the best leverage decisions for your benefit.
The first form of leverage Savers can use is TIME.
The second leverage is MONEY. Cold, hard cash!
The third, probably to your surprise, is IMAGINATION!
After all, time, not money, is your most valuable asset – more specifically, understanding how not to waste time. So this week, we’ll focus on Time.
Far too often, Savers spend too much of their time pondering financial decisions and researching the many investment options available before consulting an advisor. This research and uncertainty (paralysis by analysis) ends up leading to stress and worry instead of a life doing what they love and enjoying their hard-earned retirement savings.
Another big waste of time is shopping around for different financial advisors to help plan your retirement. After doing the research, we found there are over 2,000 advisors within a 10-mile radius of our Louisville office. We respect due diligence in making this huge financial decision of rolling over your retirement savings, but imagine taking the time to meet with all these advisors… It would take you 42 DAYS straight of 30-minute appointments – Now that’s a waste of time!
At Tony Walker Financial, we know how important it is to not waste your time. That is why we are very transparent on what to expect:
We welcome you to meet with Tony Walker Financial to understand how our WorryFree Retirement Process® helps you clarify your vision for retirement and identify a GamePlan that can help you use, enjoy and protect your money. Better yet, our process will keep you from wasting time!
